What's new in version 5.1
  • The scanning engine has been improved for increased speed and coverage
  • The ability to remove temporary (.tmp) and fragment (.chk) files
  • An improved Scan results screen with text search capabilities
  • An improved and more functional Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  • All User Account sections of the Windows Registry can now be scanned
  • Extensions to the 'Optimize Your System' feature

should i remove the old and install the new one? what about all the stuff ive fixed with it?

Please perform a free upgrade to this latest release by following the procedure below:

Make sure Registry Mechanic is closed
Download Registry Mechanic from www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/download/
Save the file, rminstall.exe, to your Desktop
Navigate to your Desktop. Find the 'rminstall' icon and double click it to launch the Registry Mechanic installer

Please Note:

The upgrade is part of your subscription

There is no need to uninstall your previous version of Registry Mechanic before upgrading

There is no need to re-enter your license details from your previous licensed version of Registry Mechanic
