Ok, after looking at some other posts on this topic, I seem to be having the exact same problem as everyone else, except... my account is the owner and I haven't had any trouble, but the other 2 accounts on my computer totally freeze up whenever you try to do anything, then it eventually says the error about "Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger has experienced an error and has to close." Then asks to send or don't send error report. I've done everything that I can think of to fix it, and I've tried to follow instructions from the other posts on here, but I am not very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff, so I need someone to hold my hand and walk me through it.

This log was made from my account, it has not yet had any of the problems...but I can't run the Hijack This program on the other accounts because they completely freeze up whenever you try to do anything.

Ok, here is a log from one of the other accounts. I'm not sure that I did it right or not because ai got an error saying that I would have to type in this command in run C:WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
but when I did that it said that the file name does not exist. I also got an error saying that I needed to email [email protected] it said that there was something saved to my notepad that I would have to send him. I couldn't find what I was supposed to send. Do I still need to do that?

No. I think I know what happened.

Copy the part in bold below into notepad and save it as clearup1.reg
Set Filetype to "all files"

Ok, I did that and here is the log from one of the other accounts. In the process of doing this, I got several error message saying that I was denied access to files, and could not write files. Is this because the account is a limited account? Should I have made it administrator before doing this?

Can you repeat the action in the administrator account?

There is no need to give the accounts admin rights.

All the settings I am changing are global (work for all accounts anyway).

Let me know if that is enough to solve the problem.
