Trojan Downloader/Bloodhound.Overpacked Problems

Hello,
I last was on the Internet and had a "JAVA script" window an inch in width and height popped up then disappear just as quickly. Then about three seconds later my Norton Internet Security pops up saying that a Trojan Downloader had infected my computer and that the attempt of repairing it and/or deleting it failed. I quickly left the website where the Java script window popped up and ran a Norton Anti-Virus scan. It was then that a Norton Internet Security window popped up saying that a "Bloodhound. Overpacked" had infected my computer and that repair and deletion had failed. Then I quickly shutdown all Internet traffic to get control of the situation.

Well my Norton Anti-Virus scan came up clean. My V-COM System Suite 6 virus scanner came up clean too----I have been having problems with the updating process of V-COM for virus definitions for some reason I can't explain??????---something about writing over a definition file... To my understanding, Bloodhound. Overpacked, which I have never heard of before, is a identification for a virus or virus-like program that can't be identified by Norton. I have had "Downloader Trojans" and DeltaBlock Trojan warning windows pop up before, but I have not had a problem with correcting or deleting them. I have lately been having a horrible time with trying to maintain my computer from Internet threats and keep it working properly. I seem to be having problems with updates, except for Norton Internet Security. I don't know if that has something to do with these Trojans or programs interferring with one another. I can say that I think I may be starting to get Internet security paranoia, so I'am sorry if this post seems ridiculous and I really don't have a problem, but I think I do; and while I'am talking about Internet security, a very knowledgeable Malware Forum staff member, Crustyoldbloke, recommended that I get Firefox for safer Internet surfing, but I can't get the thing to say anything other than "openning...www.yahoo.com" with a blank screen. I'am I doing something wrong? :tazz:
