i keep gettting a box in the bottom right hand corner of the screen that says...
"your computer is infected...dangerous malware was detcted on pc...system has will now download and install most efficient antimalware program to prevent data loss and private information theft...click here to protect your computer from the biggest malware threats..."

It is a windows/red(x) boy in the bottom right next to the time and the speach bubble with the above text comes up there...then when you click - or even right click it opens int explorer and opens up the spyaxe page and starts doing a scan...

I tried to delete the spyaxe which appears to be the problem but dont seem to get rid of it....

Additionally, though I am unsure whether it is related i keep getting the following message...

Red(X): Windows cannot find c:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe make sure u typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file....

WHEN I DOWNLOAD AND TRY TO RUN THE SMITREM PROGRAM 'RUNTHIS' I GET A MESSAGE SAYING...
WINDOWS CANNOT FIND C:DOCS AND SETTINGS\OWNER\DESKTOP\SMITREM\RUNTHIS.BAT. MAKE SURE U TYPED THE NAME CORRECTLY, AND THEN TRY AGAIN...
BUT I CANNOT FIND THE FILE...WOULD THERE BE A REASON FOR THIS??
