ok... i'm not extremely good with computers and i don't want to get rid of something that might mess up my computer. i just got a new internet service called Comcast (not dial up, works through cable)... well at first it was working great and everything but then it started to move really slow and it would freeze up and i would get a whole bunch of pop-ups when i wasn't even going from site to site i was just IMing people... so i thought maybe if i listed all the programs in Add/Remove Program Properties in my Control Panel u could tell me what i should uninstall. I just got a whole bunch of music sent to me by a friend through AIM and he said that that might be why my computer is moving so slow but it doesn't make sense for everything else going wrong with it.... here r all the programs... Active Alert, AOL instant messanger (i know i want this), Comcast SUPPORT (i'm guessing i need this cuz that's my internet provider), Command, Internet Optimizer, Media Tickets by OIN, Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Professional, Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard 1.6, Quicktime, Real Player Basic, RelevantKnowledge, snss, TSA, WildTangent Updater, WildTangent Web Driver, WESN update, Zeno Search Assistant Removal. ok that's all that's in there.... please help me i don't want to mess up my computer by getting rid of something i need...

Thank you

Hi Diana and welcome to G2G.

It looks as if the guys in the malware section should take a look at your system first.

Go here and follow the initial instructions to rid your system of malware: http://www.geekstogo...?act=SF&s=&f=37

then post your problem in the Malware section.

If they give you the all clear and you still have problems post back here.

good luck.
