I had a problem with the About:Blank homepage hijacking. In the process of trying to remove this problem, I ran several different removers. I ran Ad-Aware, Spybot, Ewido, and then something called AdwareAway, which supposedly was the one thing that could fix this problem. After doing all of that and rebooting, the only thing that shows up is the wallpaper. No desktop icons, no Start button, nothing. When I go to Task Manager, I can browse and see that there is a desktop folder and all of the icons are there. I can start programs that way, but no desktop. Also, now when browsing to start Explorer abd finding the .exe file, it says it doesn't exist. What did I do? Any ideas on how to fix it?
