Hello,

I am curious about this Winlogon entry... crypt32chain. Spybot, Adaware, Hijackthis, Ewido, CWShredder and AVG do not peg this as being dangerous... in fact, they don't even detect it. However, Process Library says it's spyware.

Spybot does show it in Advance tools start up, but I'm curious that if it were spyware, then why doesn't Spybot tag it as such.

If any of you know what this is, I would appreciate the information.

Thanks,
makai

Download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Run a scan and save the log file. Copy and paste the contents of the logfile here for review. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless. Make sure to include the System information at the top of the log as well.
