My computer boots with nothing on desktop

Am unable to see anything after my computer boots as it completly blank with no desktop icon. Then its displays The application Failed to Initialize properly(0xc0000022) click on OK to terminate the application.

However am able to start mozilla by clicking Alt+Ctrl+Del and choosing new task and navigate my way to the desktop where am able to select mozilla to start running.

I have however downloaded any spyware remover at all and it just will not start, am always having the same message, application couldnt initialize.............I downloaded spyspotter and after installing and tried to run i had this error....."Run-time error 429" ActiveX component cannot creat object.

I just do not know of this Hijack log file thing u've been talking about as my quite new to this computers stuff.
I dnt have access to the taskbar so am unable to do anything.

can someone be of help, i really do need one.
