I just got a new laptop and my daughter asked me to give her a copy of an analog film I took some time ago on my sony Hi8. I have a Pavilion zv6270 us. What do I need to capture the video in order to burn it to dvd.

If the PC has a video capture card with connections for a lead which will run from the camera to the PC you can do that
