Hi,

this is my very first post;

can anyone direct me in the right path for editing video files using VB.NET.

I would like to resize the frame size of video files, and if possible extract only a segment of it.

Thanks.

VB.NET does not edit video files. You would have to use VB.NET to write a program to do it. As far as I know, it would be TONS of trouble and pretty pointless since there are lots of free programs out there that do what you're asking. Try posting your question in the video editing forum. They should point you in the right direction.
