playing dvd movie from computer dvd drive

I dont know if this should go here but anyway

i am trying to watch the movie Valiant on my computer WMP and Nero showtime neither will work. With WMP it gives me an error message (Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. Open Display in Control Panel, and then lower your screen resolution and color quality settings. To view the DVD Troubleshooter, click More Information.) i do this and still get the same thing. and when it try to watch it with nero showtime i get this "intrenel error. cannot build graph"
i click ok and it does nothing any ideas on how i can play it.
