Hey guys, i dug up some old tapes from my family collection, iv been asked to digitise them.

I have no idea how to go about doing this.

Can someone suggest something and where to buy any required parts in the UK?

I'm not sure exactly how to do it, but I saw advertisements at local video stores that offer to this service.
