Several weeks ago my computer was infected. I do not remember the virus. I removed the virus I believe successfully. Now, everything works fine, but internet connectivity is intermittent.

I always get a DNS address and the computer connects to the DNS server without issue. However, after a reboot, there is no internet connectivity for explorer. If I disable TCP/IP and then reenable it, I usually get connectivity, although not immediately. I have found no correlation with when the connection returns and any other thing going on.

I have used netsh to re initialize the stack, Stopped firewalls, and read many posts, butto no avail.

Ping to any network address does not work when no connection is available, but I can ping my local machine

attached is the HJT log.

any assistance is appreciated.
