When I run IPCONFIG it shows me my IP address is 192.168.1.64 but my fixed address is 87.74.42.129. Where do I put this? Is it in Network connections, properties but then where does the 192 address go?

Also can anybody help with unblocking ports? I have a Thomson Speedtouch 580 router and ZoneAlarm fireall I wwant to unblock ports 1720 and 3339. At the moment their staus is "stealth". Please help!!!

the "fixed" (static to be accurate) ip from your ISP is for your router...not the pc itself...the 192.168.1.64 is the ip your router assigned your computer through dhcp...

Port Forwarding :tazz:
Just look for your router on the list, and then follow the instructions. They're pretty straight-forward.

Not sure about ZoneAlarm; I haven't used it in a few years. However, I'd either suggest you Google-it, or wait for some one who has ZoneAlarm to tell you how to do it...
