

Internet security found viruses but wont delete!

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.
Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

i have already posted before and it did not fix my norton. i am just wondering if there is something wrong with norton to explain why it fails to delete and problems it comes up with

If you didn't purchase it, you may not be getting the automatic updates.

its not having problems finding them(the viruses. the liveupdate does work and i have one year of these updates
the problem is just that it fails to delete the ones that are found.

Try the free scan from Panda and see if that works. Use IE to download it and allow the plug-ins to load.
