I HAVE CONNECTED A SMALL WIRELESS NETWORK IN MY HOME USING A DLINK ROUTER. THE PROBLEM I AM HAVE IS AS FOLLOWS. WHEN I ACTIVATE THE ROUTER I CAN VIEW TO DIFFERENT FOLDERS ON THE MACHINE RUNNING XP PRO, HOWEVER I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE MACHINE RUNNING 2000.
THE 2000 MACHINE IS CONFIG. AS A DOMAIN CONTROLLER. WHEN I OPEN NETWORK PLACES ON THE XP PRO SYS. I CAN SEE THE MACHINE, "SAMPLEDOMAIN" IN THE AVAILABLE LIST BY I CANNOT ACCESS IT. THE ERROR I RECEIVE IS " YOU DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT ACCESS RIGHTS ETC."
BUT I HAVE CREATED A USER ON THE 2000 DOMAIN WITH ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITIES, AND PASSWORD , BUT IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME ACCESS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
THANX.........
