Hi,

I'm new to the Pinnacle System. I installed Studio 10 Plus recently and recieved a message instructing me to download a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 display adapter. Can someone explain the significance of this?
I attempted to download the indicated adapter but the site would not allow me to.
I loaded Studio 10 this afternoon and bypassed the message, and was able to work the program easily, but the player window that displays the movie's progress is completely black. I can hear the audio, but there is no visual. Please help?

I'm not sure, I'm a newbie and I don't really even know what it is. Does it have anything to do with the player window?
Forgive me for my ignorance, heh

...I'm very sorry...
Please stay patient, but can you repeat that but in a little more depth? I just started this program yesterday and I'm unfamiliar with everything concerning it. Everyone has to start somewhere, right?

Alright, thanks very much.
Okay, I was redirected and there are only Ultimate Edition and Corporate Edition. Which should I choose?
Also, is the download safe?

Try this link instead for the home version.

Everest

Once you have it running, click on REPORT and the Report Wizard should run. When you come to the REPORT PROFILES page of the wizard, make sure you have radio button next to System Summary Only selected. Then click NEXT, you can leave HTML selected and click FINISH. The report will then be generated and a new window will appear. In this new window that appears, click SAVE TO FILE and save the report as REPORT.HTM somewhere on your computer where you will remember its location. Please attach this file to your reply.

Now remember to ADD THE FILE AS AN ATTACHMENT and not just copy/paste it in your next reply

And yes, the download is safe.

The display adapter on my computer is GeForce FX 5200.
What I would like to know is if it has anything to do with the player window, and how it affects the program. The only problem I'm having with Studio 10 right now is that stupid window.

Try opening media player, click tools, options, performance to turn video acceleration off, click apply, close media player

Look for the same option in Pinnacle
