---------------------------
Windows System
---------------------------
Error in Winsock Module

Connection Structure is unknown.

Possible Reason:

Your Firewall and/or Antivirus application is blocking

the System-File: services.exe

Make sure that the "services.exe" can connect to

the internet!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I keep getting this error message.
I login to Juno & I use the internet just fine. 5 minutes later it gives me that error message. What worries me is that I uninstalled the firewall/anti-virus I was using & it still gives me the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update : I just tried the WinSockFix & it happened again.

Can you post a screenshot of this error occurring? You can host it at imageshack.us....

Are you sure that any and all firewalling software is disabled? You may have a rogue service running, once you have screenshotted the error and made sure you have disabled firewalls tell me and I will try to help you further.

I'm pretty sure I deleted the anti-virus i was using. I uninstalled it. & it doesn't show up on the program files.

Anyways, here's the screenshot.

this Microsoft article explains what a service is..

So this occurs only while using the Internet? Is there any chance that you can disable the Juno service (unfamiliar with what it does, but sounds like it is causing the problem) or update the Juno program? It sounds to me like this is at fault.

I figured on Juno being your ISP, but what is the Juno program for?

So you have a cable connection or something? You can't just use the inbuilt Windows utilities to connect to the internet?

And have you checked the Juno website for an update to that program? It seems like this is the source of the problem.. however, I will wait for someone else to give their opinion...

I'm not all that familiar with the way services work, this just seems to be the source of the problem if it only happens when you're on the internet.. also because the programs ISPs send out aren't always effectively written...
