When I start up my computer my internet is down.
What I do to turn it on is go to Network Connections, disable, enable, and repair the internet that I'm using. Doing this makes my internet work again.
Any help with avoiding this? It's recent, and the reason is unknown.

go to run and type this in

devmgmt.msc

START/RUN/ devmgmt.msc / click ok

click on the + and right click on the driver....
choose update the driver

if no updates are available choose uninstall
restart your computer...hardware wizard will find drivers
reinstall them for you.......see if that helps

Still doesn't work right. And the fix didn't do anything.
For some reason disconnecting our router and reconnecting it fixes it.

Nope. But I wouldn't want to go press it every time I need to use the internet, that's for sure.

did you try changing the ethernet cables
these to can contribute to bad connection to the internet
are you connected to a modem
you can reboot the modem
just disconnect all cables and power supply
reconnect after five minutes
this just static test

test your internet speed here

http://www.toast.net/

on the left look for channels and internet speed test

from time to time i reboot my modem
i use cables of a good quality

Well, I can't rewire because the wire is going through a really long strange place. I dbout it's that anyways, because if I can make it work simply by waiting and repairing, it's probably something on my computer.

Are there other computers connected to the same router? Are they working well?

One way to fix such problems is to create a local network, give each computer a fixed IP and disable DHCP in the router.
