Hello,

I have followed the steps advised before posting this log.

I would like to fix / delete .. some of the programs and ?!? off my computer that I do not need, and that could be related to some of the problems I have been having.

I was getting the popups that don't open in a standard window - that was fixed I think by one of the programs that was suggested.

My computer crashes sometimes at random. I was going to submit a post about 10 minutes ago when my computer turned off...go figure. The last time is crashed while I was not in the middle of loading something was about a week ago... so it doesn't happen on a daily basis.

Also I have not been able to connect to my hotmail account from this computer - I enter my password, and then the page loads slowly for several minutes resulting in the default page cannot be displayed - but have not run into problems logging on to other sites for the most part.

Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and download and unzip hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a permanent folder, please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.

Now I see a few problems that we can attack.

Download the Pocket Killbox.

Unzip the contents of KillBox.zip to a convenient location and then double-click on KillBox.exe to launch the program.

• Now go to the Killbox application and click on the File menu and then the Paste from Clipboard menu item. In the Full Path of File to Delete box you should see the first file. If you dropdown that box you should see the rest of them. Make sure that they are all there.
• Click on the Delete on Reboot option and then click on the red circle with a white 'X' in to to delete the files. Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot, click YES. When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES. If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just restart manually.

Your system will reboot now.

You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

if you receive, while running option #1, an error similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application.."...then please use option 5 or the web page link in the l2mfix folder to solve this error condition. do not run the fix portion without fixing this first.

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!
If after the reboot the desktop icons dont dissappear or the log does not pop up then in the l2mfix folder double click the second.bat file to continue with the fix.

The computer is running well.. however I still have two pop ups when I start the computer - that I thought I mentioned before - but could not find the post.

1. iTouch.exe - Application failed to start because itchhk.dll was not found re-instaling may fix problem.

2. Rundll - Error loading nview.dll specified module coul not be found.

What can I do to get rid of these ?

Let's see what we can figure out.

1. iTouch.exe - Application failed to start because itchhk.dll was not found re-instaling may fix problem.

This is for your Logitech Internet keyboard. You should have a disc for this with the program that you can reinstall. That will resolve this error.

2. Rundll - Error loading nview.dll specified module coul not be found.

This one may be easy to fix. Use Hijackthis and fix these lines.

Can you help me with my access problems ?

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox in hopes that I would be able to access my Hotmail account - and sure enough I got past the login screen and to my mail... but it takes FOREVER ! but still have prolems accessing different e-mails within Hotmail - is just doesn't load - and I have Cable Interenet - so by forever I mean 20 - 60 seconds sometimes ( sometimes though it still has a problem loading - and just won't ) Internet Explorer will NOT allow me access to Hotmail.

Same thing when I try to logon to Myspace - Sometimes I can get it - other times I can't ?!?

ALL ! ! Other sites that do not require logons though have no problems loading quickly ( 1-4 seconds depending on page ) ?!?!?

What can I do ?
