I wanted to add some new visualizations to my windows media player 10 after upgrading it to the windows media player 11. I right clicked the top bar went into 'Tools' --> 'Download' --->'Visualizations'. From then I downloaded two plug-ins: Trilogy II and Trilogy III.
I tried them out while 'Now Playing' one of my mp3 but I wasn't too pleased with the quality I thought they were rather ugly. So i set to uninstall them. I went into control/add panel thinking if I chose to modify my windows media player one of the options would be to 'repair' basically setting it back o the way it was before. But this options was not available, nor were these ugly plug-ins listed either.
I went on the microsoft website for help but that didnt do much good. They gave instructions which I followed but the glitch is that according to them once you go to 'View'-->'Plug-ins' --> 'Options'. Select the 'Plug-ins' tab and select visualization from the category. Then from the left hand side select which visualization plug-in you want to remove; the remove button is disabled.
I cannot select remove after I've selected the Trilogy II to obe removed. It's getting rather annoying and I just don't want to have these plug-ins stay in my computer forever. Is there a way for me to get rid of them? (without ,hopefully, uninstalling windows media player 11 but if that's the only way then so be it so long as I can get rid of them)
Thanks in advance!
