Thanks for your patience.

Your log appears to be clean, however to be certain i would ask you to carry out the following free on-line scans.

Panda
Trend Housecall

If either find anything, have it fix whatever it finds

Please post the logs From both virus scans and a new HJT.log I will need them to remove previous infections that MAY have left files on your system.

oh sweet, ok thx... i'll try panda, tried trend house and nothing is found. Btw, i was had a case where panda deleted a critical file that is needed to start windows. In the end, i have to reformat =/

Could it happen again? I gues the virus probably attached to the critical file.

Shouldn't have a problem with Panda, however there are ways to recover Windows without losing any data should the worst ever happen, however if you are unsure do the scan and post any results before doing anything else.

Hi Morose,

Thanks for your patience.

As you have already had one to run and it has come back clean. There should be no reason to try a second scan.

I would advise you to run download, install and update, Spybot and Adaware from the links below. (if you have not already done so)

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3

Ad-aware S E 1.5

Run them both and report back if they find any problems, however from looking at the log you initially posted, your log looks clean

Are you actually experiencing any specific problems or were you just needing reassurance.

Regards

ya im having some problem which i've no idea wad has happened. Sometimes after a while, i cant even open my firefox. I can open all other programs but however hard i try, i cant seem to open my firefox. I'll have to restart and then will i be able to surf the net.

Also, whenever i log off my msn, and try to log on, i cant log on as well. I'll have to restart my comp.

At times whenever i wanna restart comp, i'll have an error that prompt "end task" before it restarts. I'll paste another log as this problem happened just recently, after the last log i posted.

O23 - Service: ZESOFT - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing) <-- this file seems to keep coming back whenever i delete it. Could that be a problem?

Hi Morose, Thanks for your patience, as explained I need to get all my replies checked before posting to ensure that you get the correct information.

Please re-run Spybot and have it fix anything it may find.

Re-open HJT

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following,

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.findthewe.../default_tc.asp
O16 - DPF: {79849612-A98F-45B8-95E9-4D13C7B6B35C} - http://static.topcon...vex/loader2.ocx
O23 - Service: ZESOFT - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing)

have HJT fix the above entries and then close it.

Reboot into SAFE MODE

Use windows explorer and delete the following file

C/WINDOWS/ZETA.EXE

Restart your pc normally

Then rescan with HJT and post log in this thread.
