I am greatly dissappointed with todays products. The intel macmini was to be expected, but the others?

An ugly, heavy boombox for $350. Why not just buy the cord to connect it to your current stereo for 10 bucks?

And a $100 leather sleeve from apple? You've got to be kidding me.

yeah, looks like another superfulous thing from apple. i mean really, apple could make a refrigorator, and if it has the apple "look" to it, it would sell big.

i actually like apples look, just its overused, and now getting old, you can tell a product is a mac product by its look even if you never saw a product of that type before. and btw, dont you think apple is whipping out all this ipod related stuff rather fast, in the last year, they've had like 4 new ipod models, and now this thingy.

the reason that they come out with something new every month is because if they didn't....they'd go bankrupt....apple sales were meager at best untill the ipod came out (why did it save the? i guess marketing...people act like the ipod fell from the sky handed down by god himself...as if it were the first mp3 player to be released)...so...they had to keep that ball rolling...hence the mini...then the nano the shuffle the whatever....they have to keep their hands in that market share...

I think the reason that we like Apple's stuff so much is because of the organic way it looks. I mean, we all love websites with rounded corners, and look at the iPod: no screws, seams, or plastic: just white and silver. Even the round clickwheel, the round button in the center. The firmware's highlighting is even 3D so that it looks like you're looking at the text through a cylinder. The human is naturally attracted to organic-looking objects.
