Hi guys, A0042967.dll was detected by VirusScan in System Volume Information folder. I dunno whether i should delete it. can anyone help me out? my computer has multiple pop-ups lately and it seems nothing can stop it!! my home page is also changed to some strange websites automatically..it's so annoying!! desperately need a solution!! thx..

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

hopefully you have this resolved by now, however if you are still having issues and suspect that it is malware related I would start with our malware forum and see if they can make sure you don't have any malware installed.
