I'm looking to buy an external hard drive.

Any advice on what drive to buy - which ones to avoid?

Thanks

You can even buy a normal internal HDD and buy a separate external enclosure, just put the HDD in the enclosure and snap it up and its the exact same thing. Usually it is cheaper unless you find a good sale. I buy my parts from www.newegg.com. Good Luck!
