After getting some great help here on fixing a system infected with a trojan, I'd like to hear what routine steps I should take that might keep my system running well. I've loaded up on malware and spyware including suggestions i got here. I downloaded and ran various cleaners which sped things up quite a bit after the slowdown from the trojan.

Now that I have a bunch of software and links to online scans, what routine tasks do people run to keep the crap out their system - Cleanup? Easy Cleaner? ??? Thanks

CCleaner is a nice utility to clean out the trash.
Disk error check and then defragment regularly.
