windows wont start

Hi there. It seems that windows wont start. i'm not sure what happened. My wife said it was fine until i unplugged the wireless connection from my other computer.

Any help would be great!

Hi. This is the error that i get when i try to start windows. "Pls reinstall a copy of the above file. <windows root>\system 32\hal.dll

Any help with this would be gretly appreciated.
