i've recently had some security decisions and took advice to use mozilla instead of ie but actually prefer ie is it really that big of risk to use internet explorer?

not if you use it correctly....as long as you have GOOD antivirus softwar and GOOD antimalware software...always use a firewall of some kind and keep your windows and ie updated on a regular basis...you should be safe

thanks so much maybe i'm just use to the internet explorer but with mozilla and the java software it seems to take forever to go into sites for games like pogo or my bellsouth games

that's probably linked to the malware infections that you are being treated for in the malware forum...let those guys help you get clean before you start worrying about anything else with your computer

thanks for the advice i'll hold off until we can get this problem fixed thats if i don't throw the dang computer out the door first
