For a few days now, anytime I insert a dvd or any disc for that matter into any of my two drives, my computer will freeze. I have to then turn it off and reboot. The computer will then function properly unless ofcourse I insert a disc again. I have tried everything I know and nothing. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Have you checked the status of each device in device manager? Go to start, my computer, right click properties, hardware tab and view the device manager. Do you see a yellow ! next to the drive? You can right click, view properties on the drive. Does it say it is working properly?
