Fatal System Error when starting ad-aware please help!

I just got a laptop and it's been a week only; I got the Dell Inspiron 600m. I haven't had any problems until today when I tried to run my Ad-Aware SE personal because I started getting popups and my computer was running slow, it detects its first piece of spyware and then the computer goes to a blue screen with white letters which reads:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The windows logon Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.

I tried scanning many times, even in safe mode, but the same thing happens. I even installed spybot search & destroy but it didn't detect anything. I installed hijackthis and here's my log. I'm very computer illiterate so please be patient with me if I don't understand as quickly :tazz:

Click start then control panel, click add / remove programmes, find ad-aware se, left click it to highlight then click remove, confirm and reboot

Try as many programmes as you can to see if any others give the same screen

Then download ad-aware se run it without updating it, then update it and re-run it to see what happens

hmm I did as you said and at first I thought it didn't work but when I updated adaware and scanned it I canceled the scan fast enough to delete the file, but it said it couldn't be deleted and was gonna run adaware again when window starts next time. When I restarted my computer and adaware ran, nothing was found. The spyware seemed to have hidden but I thought it was gone because I got no ads for a couple of days and my adaware ran fine. But today, I started getting ads again, a lot of [bleep] ads and winfixer ads. I ran adaware, and symantec, and windows defender but couldn't find anything. There were a few files that I found on adaware but even after I deleted them, I still got the popups. Please analyze my hijackthis and tell me if anything is wrong. Thanks!

Stop receiving pop-up ads that have the title Messenger ServiceIf advertisements open on your computer in a window titled Messenger Service, your system might not be secure. Although the name is similar, these messages—which are sometimes called "messenger spam"—are not related to Windows Messenger, MSN Messenger, or other instant messaging programs.

Disabling instant messaging programs is not necessary and will not prevent Messenger service spam. To help protect your computer, you should enable Windows Firewall (or a firewall of your choice) and also make sure that the Messenger service feature in Windows XP is disabled.

To disable the Messenger service feature in Windows XP

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might also prevent you from completing this procedure.

Click start then run, type services.msc then press enter

Open Services in Administrative Tools.
Double-click Messenger.
In the Services list, double-click Messenger.
In the Startup type list, click Disabled.
Click Stop, and then click OK.
Note

If your computer is part of a corporate network, talk to your system administrator before taking this action.

Very few known *good* purposes of this. Norton Cleansweep being the headliner of good items
Loads a .dll into memory when a user logs in. Frequently used by VERY bad hijackers.
