xp pro wont boot

i have tried everything windows just hangs right before the windows spash screen, safemode would also hang when it was loading, also i tried a different hard drive with an operating system on it and it would just blue screen and crash during the spashscreen but i got the safemode to work for that os but didnt know what to do from there, I recently converted my comp. to water cooling and it worked fine then i added a vga cooler and when i hooked everything back up i encountered this prob. Thia problem has me completly confused, i even tried using a windows xp disk to do a recovery and it would just error. please help. thanks

If anyone can help me with this problem i would be glad to "donate" some money to them using paypal

Sean, I had this problem also.

I'm not entirely sure if there is a fix, I re-installed windows.

Try inserting your Windows XP CD upon boot, and use the Windows Recovery tool, get into the command prompt and run CHKDSK and other programs, I forgot to try this, but theres a chance.

You can use this guide to repair XP

Possibly, you will need to boot the PC and keep tapping the delete key until the PC enters set up. Change the boot order to CD ROM Drive then hard drive, press F10 then press enter, type Y then press enter and as it reboots, look for press any key to load from CD, press enter

XP Repair Install

Windows XP repair feature won't delete your data, installed programs, personal information, or settings. It just repairs the operating system

After running XP Repair you will need to install all Windows Updates
