i have an asus P4BGL-MX motherboard with and intergrated intel 845g grphics card. i want to know if i can install a new graphics card on it.

From what i read on it you only have a PCI expansion slot which severely limits you, the best you can get is a Fx5500 in PCI but if youre aiming for some high end gaming its not that great but for older stuff itll be fine and itll be a huge improvement over the integrated and it will free up your ram.

gutted. ithought 845g's also have an AGP slot(maybe i'm wrong) but yer, a PCI slot is really old for gfx cards. i suggest you save some money and buy a 945 mobo, you can do this when ever you want. it's the new PCI-E system and you'll need new DDR2 RAM but other than that, you should be ok
