Where can I safely download music?

Can someone please help me find a good place to download music? Are there still file sharing programs, or are they filled with spyware and to risky? I did a search and found yahoo music, that looked pretty good. I've seen limewire, but heard it can have viruses.

Your best bet for downloading music is to use a reputable retailer and pay for the music. GeekstoGo does not support file sharing (P2P) because of the legal and ethical issues associated with these services.
