SB Live 24 Headset + Speakers

Hi,

I just got a headset with a mic for gaming. I'd like voices to come through the headset, and everything else through the speakers.

When I game, the opposite seems to happen, most sound comes through the headset, but sound effects and voices through the speakers.

I must be doing something wrong, but I cant seem to figure it out!

Hi, solved the problem, but it might be a bit of a hack. I have a soundcard built into the mainboard that I reactivated. I then set the sounds to play through the Soundblaster card, and ran voice capture and playback through the other device.

That seems to be what I'm after, just an fyi in case someone else is trying for the same set up.
