Hi Guys! I want to start by thanking you for helping me remove two previous viruses I had gotten on my Lap top.

I removed spyfalcon in safemode about two weeks ago. I will admit that I may have skipped the hijack this steps b/c i had forgotten to download it (i hope this wasn't a critical error). Since then I have not seen spyfalcon on my desktop but when I run Ad-Aware it shows up as a critical object sometimes so I'm guessing I half-stepped the process. :tazz:

The Symptoms:

-My computer was reporting 100% CPU usage a while ago but that has stopped.
-When I run Ad-aware it says I have over 20 critical objects, all tracking cookies along with MRU list.
-I cannot get on-line (wireless)even though I have 5/5 bars.

HELP ME PLEASE!

Please follow all the directions found here. After you get to step 5, if your problem is not resolved, post a HijackThis log in the Malware forum. If your problem persists after getting a clean bill of health from a malware expert, return here and we'll continue troubleshooting.

Keep in mind, the malware forum is very busy and can take up to 5 days to receive a reply. There is a special forum called The Waiting Room if you've been waiting for 3 or more days. You can put a link to your topic & a short description of your problem and someone will get with you soon.

NOTE: If you look at the item directly under Preparation, you will see how to fix your internet connection. Even if it works, you will still need to do all the rest of the steps to make sure you successfully removed SpyFalcon. That infection could still be lurking on your computer, possibly completely invisible.
