Hi All,

I have a D-link DWL-G510 wireless card installed in my PC.
For sometime I have happily been sharing the ADSL one the PC with a laptop through this card.
Recently We got a second laptop and I splashed out on a woreless router so I didn't have to have the PC on all the time.
Now the router is all set up and running my PC seems to be unhappy.
The CPU runs at 80-100% when I enable the card, with the card disabled all is fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this upset??

Oh, I'm running Win XP Pro, SP2...

I'm tempted to move this to networking or hardware, but first, check the Device Manager for any errors, and update the drivers for the card from the manufacturer's website. Also, have a look in the event logs at the time the CPU spikes. Does it spike briefly, or get stuck?

Sorry, wasn't sure where it should go.
Driver is up to date.
The CPU runs at 80 - 100% while the card is enabled, as soon as I disable it, it drops back down.
Nothing in device manager.
Nothing unusual in event log.
