Main Board: ASUS "K8N-E Deluxe" NVIDIA nForce3
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz
1.0 Gb RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 128Mb
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live
PSU: Aspire ATX-AS520W 12V

I am trying to make sure my system stays clean. I was doing a little surfing re: winstat.exe and I found my self here.

I keep Norton up to date, I use Spybot & CW Shredder.

My Symptoms:
The other day my pc restarted by itself, which I believe is not a good sign. My PC is also just slightly slower. Other than that, I noticed my PC changed "attitude" right after I allowed/installed Active X controls. Not sure how to reverse that.
I am mainly a gamer, once in a while my online game (Black Hawk Down) will freeze for about 15-20 sec, then go back to normal.
