Hi Ya'all :tazz:

I'm looking into getting DSL, but have been scared into not getting DSL due to having such an older computer. Its a 1997 HP

But is there programs/downloads I can get to keep me safe from hackers with my computer? I'm now in a town that carries DSL and would really love to get away from Dial Up.

Thanks :)

Firewalls

Anti Virus

Anti spyware

1, 6 and 7 work with 98SE

Only get one firewall and one anti virus

Zone Alarm Free with AVG Free is a popular choice

Other than that DSL should run OK

Thanks Keith and Wifey! This is just GREAT!!! Going to get set up for DSL now :) OMG, cant wait.
I would love to have Cable Internet, but that cost 60.00+ A bit out of my league.

Thanks again and have a wonderful day to the both of you
