I am using a dell laptop with XP professional. I am connect wirelessly to RR and I also have a desktop running ME os. The desktop is able to access all three sites the laptop cannot. This is fairly new problem. And seems to be progressing. It first started out that I could not access JJ Huddle; then I could not access my local tv station www.whiznews.com; and now I cannot access Amazon.com. In Explorer it simply comes up with the cannot connect page and in firefox it says problem loading page.

Could I have a setting issue? I have no idea how to check or what to look for. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks!

Are both computers using RR or just the one that isn't able to connect to the sites you want? I'm wondering this because I use road runner and have been having problem with connecting to a forum. But if I go around by proxymouse I can reach the forum. I found out that right now it could be possible that AOL and Time warner people may have problems connecting to a few sites.

Both computers are using RR, but neither one using AOL. I cannot connect at school via a LAN connection to either of the sites, which is why I beleive it is some setting in my computer. I just discovered a fourth site--a forum--that I cannot connect to either.

Okay, can anyone explain this...I did a hijackthis log and saw all 4 of the sites I was having trouble with (whiznews.com, amazon.com, jjhuddle.com, wholewoman.com) in the log. I selected them and hit fix and now I can access all four of them! :tazz: :) I am so happy!!! Can you tell from the log what was wrong?

If someone can I will post it. Thanks!
