A friend of mine has mentioned that downloading Flash from macromedia increases your accessibility to those in the cyber world who wish to send viruses or invade your PC in some way. Is that fact? Can downloading Flash being hazardous to your computer's health and security?

some applications will need more access than others to your computer. But in my experience, the application always asks you beforehand.
