Other than the obvious...

Can you transfer your Fav's Folder from one computer to another ... say by downloading it to a thumbdrive? or is this just wishful thinking on my part and should I start writing down all my fav urls?

You should be able to copy them into another computer's favorites folder.

Just make sure they all end up in the other computer's Favorite folder and not some other random place and it should work.

Just to be on the safe side, this is my really stupid way of making sure I have all the url's from one computer ready to store on a pendrive because sometimes not all of them are in favorites as you might if, like me, move them around a bit.

First create folder to store url's in on pendrive
press windows botton with f botton
search under: .url
Ctrl with A(select all)
Crrl with C(copy)
windows botton with E botton(open explorer)
open the folder you have just made to store url's in
Ctrl with V (paste)

Not very neat I know but one has them all.
