i was trying to copy files from a dvd to the hard drive. this error pops out

cannot copy ---------------- : the parameter is incorrect

how u fix this?

You would need a conversion program. good luck finding one.

A conversion program converts one .file format to another. The parimater you are talking about would be considered a class 2. So, actually, I would check the DVD, a conversion might work, please give us more detail.

what kind of dvd is this...home burned...store bought....what's the content on the dvd?

its home burned, and its basely a bunch of anime epsiodes , about 175 mb ish?

i burned it from my old computer to dvd long time ago.

i remember that i download those anime epsiodes from animesuki.com

It turns out that right now computers dont appreciate seeing .avi files burnt on a DVD. I have a collection of home videos that I had converted to AVI, and burnt on a DVD, when I tried to play those files the video froze. I had to update the driver for my drives... And scince my dvd burner is barely a month and a half old, I could only find a new driver for my older ( 2.5 years ) LG cd-rw/dvd player.

Check for drivers, perhaps it'll help.
