[B][I][FONT=Arial][SIZE=7][COLOR=red] ;) I have a HP Pavilion 520 W, and I at one time had Kazaa, now I need to know how to erase my hard drive, I can't get these files out, and they are messing with my PC, I ran the restore disk, the files were still there, anyone know how to get this stuff out? Please? I am desperate.

Also my CD writer is doing something very odd, I get the songs in that I did want at one time, and half way through the writing process it displays an error saying that there was a problem please try again and install a new disk, and it is ruining several brand new CD-R's, anyone got an answer for that?

thanks so much. :tazz:

Hi,

This application should help you remove Kazza's legacy components (namely the spy ware): http://www.safer-net...load/index.html
As for the CD writing issue, what software are you using? Does the drive support buffer under run protection?

 Thanks, I actually found a great free spyware/adware remover, but it is the music files I can't get out, come to think of it I would like to remove all of my downloaded files.

Also I have no idea, my cd burn program seems to be gone now, I must have erased it, any ideas where I can get a program, do I have to buy one, or can I download a free writer? ;) :tazz:

if you have XP then you can use the built in Cd writing software (right click the files and send to cd drive)
