Hey xx-LIL-EMZ-xx,

You can do that simply by Paint. You have to know the size of the avatar though (Generally 128x128 / 64x64). Well, start by loading the MS Paint and open your picture from there. Go to: Edit > Select All. Then go to: Image > Stretch/Skew > Enter the size of avatar as a percentage of the orginal. (for example: horizontal 50%, Vertical 50% - that would resize your orignal picture by half). Hope I managed to answer your question.

Also, remember that your avatar plus any images in your signiture must be a total of 16 kB or less.
