Registry scan issue using pconpoint version 3.5

Windows 2000 NT os; downloaded and ran the pconpoint version 3.5 system troubleshooter
it found and fixed multiple errors except in the registry file; clicking on "fix" it run's/ say's it fixed them but re running the scan they (or new issues of the same # by coincidence?) still show up on the recap.
Am I missing something?
