Hey,
I've just got back to my house after leaving my PC on for 3 hours. It seems that my browsers (IE and Firefox) are restricted to certain webpages! I can use MSN Messenger and this website for example, but some sites won't load up!

I've reset my modem and router but that's not changed anything really! I went to 'Network Connections' tried disabling and enabling the connection, as well as 'repairing' it but that hasn't led to any improvement!

Any ideas what the problem might be? Any way to solve them?

Thanks
Kev

Hey there kevinski.

Ok start by making sure that there are no programs (Eg. Firewalls) blocking these sites from opening.

From there clean out your cache.

Try in IE, goto:
> Tools
> Internet Options...
> Security Tab
> Click On Trusted Sites and view them.
> Add the URL you are trying to access.
> Then goto "Restricted Sites" and make sure the the URL you are trying to access is not in there.

This should work, but what I am think is that some kind of program is blocking the sites from opening, try also turning all protection off for awhile and see if you can access the sites.

Cool, let me know what happends :whistling:
