When I attempt to boot my computer I am receiving the following message:

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl alt del to reboot

I'm running XP home SP2. The problem is that I've had this computer for a few years and I no longer have the XP disks. Is there a way to fix this problem without the source disks?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Here's something else you might try - go to another xp pc and do a search for ntldr. Then copy it onto your pc. According to my notes, it can be found in the root directory. It may be a hidden file. However, my notes were for a win 2000. When looking for the file on an xp system it was found in
