my computer is listed as "ACPI multiprocessor PC" but is single processor, is listed as 1 processor in BIOS,
Device manager also shows 2 pentium 4 chips in the processor tab, another issue is that it says under network adaptors that Microsoft Tun Miniport adaptor #2 cannot start.

one functional problem with my pc is that it cannot be accesed through network file sharing, other comps get msg of this computer is inaccesable...it is not a firewall issue, as turning it off does nothing, same with antivirus, disabling does nothing. all network settings are the usual, file and print sharing is turned on, Netbios over tcp/ip is enabled, i tried installing ipx protocall, didnt work, network card works fine, i can get on the internet, bearshare connects, but kazaa cannot. other strange issue was that i could not install properly a pci wireless network card.
i have XP sp2.
please help out!!
