right i have a lot of choices of software into install but i want my comp to be evaded of virus' etc. and i am worried that they will clash and nnot work propperly.

ewido - anti-malware
zone alarm
avg - anti-virus
trojan hunter
lavasoft ad-aware SE professional

which ones will not clash and do different jobs

i need an anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware and anti-malware.

if there are other free programs which are available and work well, help would be appreciated.

i know but i dont want any clashes meaning 2 programs trying to delete a certain virus like zone alarm and avg

Zone Alarm is a firewall...AVG is Anti-Virus. They perform completely different functions so they should work well together. That being said, ZoneAlarm has been known to be a bit glitchy at times...if you run into problems involving ZoneAlarm, try the Sygate Firewall instead.

The applications you list are all used and recommended by G2G and should work fine together.
