I ran the microsoft download you gave me..then tried the tune up..still doesnt work, says:

The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.
This can occur if you are running Windows in safe more, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed.

Also just in general I am getting a lot of popus for updates...I never was able to load updates after I reinstalled windows..

please help..hopefully we are almost there!

computer running slow...its like its always trying to load something..the hour glass is present alot

If it didn't give errors during the repair run the system file check again

click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter

If you got Tune Up run through that again

still wont let me install tuneup..dont know why
